Firm Overview

DemingPhotoshoot2011Micaela Deming, Esq. is a practicing attorney focusing on the civil legal needs of survivors of domestic and sexual violence, stalking, and human trafficking. She began working with survivors of sexual assault in 2005 with Susquehanna Valley Women in Transition and continues to volunteer as an advocate for survivors of interpersonal violence with the Sexual Assault Response Network of Central Ohio.

“For many years, I have been an advocate for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. In my year at the Domestic Violence Unit of the City Prosecutor’s Office, I noticed just how often I told survivors that they really needed an attorney, only to have them come back to me and say they couldn’t find one. I realized that I was the attorney they needed. There is an overwhelming need in our community for assisting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking, and stalking. I understand the dynamics of interpersonal violence, and I am willing and able to set affordable fees.”
